She was initially recognised for her glamorous personality, which also added to her popularity in the Indian Fashion world. She later on went through a complete makeover into “Girl Next Door” to fit into more real life and challenging films. Thus, leading her to act in films of various genres.
She was spotted by Kannada filmmakers and started her career as an actress in a couple of comedy flicks at an early age. She has starred alongside Kannada Superstar Dr Shiva Rajkumar. She went on expanding in other language films including Malayalam and Tamil.

She is an active member of the Theatre community with a handful of English and Hindi plays under her collar.
She is skilled in various dance forms like Kathak, folk style, freestyle and belly dance. Alongside being trained at dance she has also learnt hula hooping and kickboxing.
Acting in different films gave her the chance to pick up different languages, she now speaks English, Hindi, Kannada, Punjabi and Marwari, and can manage Telugu and Tamil too.
