Hey, I am Iti Acharya
I was born in Rajasthan and brought up in Punjab.
My mother had put me to dance school at an early age where I learnt Kathak and Rajasthani dance . I did my very first stage show at a young age of 3 years. I also grew a passion for theatre since school days itself. Later, I moved to Bangalore to pursue my graduation at National Institute of Fashion Technology.
I started my carrier as a professional model in 2010 and soon enough was led to lot of photo shoots and ramp shows. My steamy-sizzling looks and amazing dressing sense have always been a part of my package. I was always recognised as a drop dead gorgeous personality, which I believe also added to my popularity in the glamour world.
My life took a major turn in 2012 when I was spotted by a sandalwood team who were looking for a fresh and enthusiastic actress for their next project. There was no looking back for me since then. I bagged lot of good roles in kannada movies ranging from thriller like Guest House to comedies like Deal Raja . I expanded my south movies venture into Mollywood with Asif Ali’s Kilipoyi, followed by the challenging lead role in Kerela Today as a cop.
I even appeared in a Tamil rap song Elarai with Bharath in movie Aindhaam Thalaimurai Sidha Vaidhiya Sigamani.
In 2015, I started my first Hindi movie Satyavati which is an independent film and is based on corrective rape. In 2016, my life turned into a fairytale when I won Miss South India 2016 title.
